I am wrapping up my fantastic 4+ months at Sea Island. My last day will be August 31. It has been a pleasure and a privilege to work with this amazing team again!

I will be taking a few weeks off to recharge my batteries. I'm looking forward to some time at home, yard work, and some much-needed Atticus time (my fave white boxer). ❤️

In addition, you can read all about the progress being made by the Council of State Governments regarding not only the Massage Therapy compact but the Cosmetology compact as well. Once completed, these compact will allow licensed massage therapists and cosmetologists to work in states other than their home state after completing a few simple steps. As a spa leader that is always searching for massage therapists, this is VERY exciting and will open up a whole new world of recruiting!

I'm excited to provide spa task force assistance to my long-time spa colleague Cecilia Hercik at Spa At Sea Island!

I am assisting Cecilia during a spa leadership transition period allowing her to focus on the "big-picture" at the spa. Along with completing some projects that have been on hold, I am coaching/mentoring/guiding a new supervisor so that she can be a successful leader in this busy spa.

I truly enjoy spa task force work ... no job is too big or too small! And during these days of continual change, even a seasoned spa director can use an extra pair of hands and eyes.

Attention New York State spa and massage locations! Phase 3 guidelines for "personal care services" have been posted. No firm date yet on WHEN phase 3 will start, but at least we can all be prepared.
