JW Acres is back at it this Halloween! Come to the barn for a creepy good time with a haunting scene. Enjoy a 4 course spooktacular menu along with people you may or may not know. Reserve your spot or spots and come as you are or maybe dressed festive which is always encouraged! We sure could use a little fun these days! October 31st @ 6:30pm. Message to reserve your spot!

First course: Boo-ternut Squash Raviolis with brown butter sage sauce, roasted squash guts and pancetta.

Second course: Dracula spring mix salad with ghostly pears, feta and draculas balsamic glaze.

Third course: Skeleton Short Ribs braised in blood wine reduction and served with Frankenstein fingers and Casper’s potatoes!

Fourth course: Witches Cauldron cinnamon baked Apple with a caramel drool.

Join me for a Spooktacular Chef's table I've been brewing up. so I hope you will join us at my table. The scene is set; the barn decked out with creepy crawlies and friends of past lives. They may appreciate if you came dressed to impress in your scariest (or not) costume. Bring a friend... or 24 (max).

First course: Shrimp and Grits with citrus aioli (small plate)

Second Course: Spring mix salad with pears, rendered bacon, feta cheese, pumpkin seeds, and figs all drizzled with a caramelized balsamic glaze.

Third Course: Braised short ribs over roasted corn and poblano risotto paired with candied brussels sprouts-topped with Minnesota nice adobo demi glace.

Fourth Course: Baked Apple Dumplings with a meyers rum caramel sauce, cinnamon and a dollop of whipped cream.

I'm DYING to serve you..... don't be caught dead without a reservation- these spaces are getting snatched up quickly! To reserve you spot(s) or whole table please text 847-370-2579 with your name, # of people, and your date preference.

Pop Up Chef's tables this weekend! Saturday February 18th @ 6:30 pm

Menu:
App: Butternut Squash Ravioli with brown butter sage sauce and toasted pecans
Salad: Spring Mix salad with rendered bacon, red pears, caramelized onions, feta cheese and drizzled with a caramelized balsamic vinaigrette.
Entree: Grilled Filet Mignon with red wine demi glace, Asiago whipped mashed potatoes and honey sage carrots.
Dessert: Warm apple turnovers with vanilla bean ice cream

$75/ person with wine sampling

Sunday February 19th Brunch @ 11:30am
First course: Mini waffle with apple cinnamon compote and drizzle of local maple syrup.
Second course: Orange citrus yogurt fruit parfait
Third course: Braised short rib with fried egg over cheddar grits and roasted vegetables with a bearnaise sauce nape.
Fourth course: Gingersnap Souffle

$65/person

Chef's tables are about the experience... maybe you will know someone at the table and maybe you won't. What a way to gather at a table and connect with new people over a great meal.

I just wanted to say Happy New Year to all of you from JW Acres! Whew December was a busy month with so many lovely private chefs tables, cookies, kits, caterings and life! May you all have a bright year ahead of you spending time with all the important people in your life and meeting new people too!

Hoping to post upcoming open table chefs table dates soon! Come meet new people, enjoy a different type of experience or organize your own table with up to 10 people. We can build the menu together to work around allergies and preferences!
