Spaulding Composites will be closed the week of December 22 - 26 for the holiday. Please enjoy 'Twas the Week Before Christmas in honor of our team...
’Twas the week before Christmas, when out on the floor
All the people were working, ready to run for the door.
The machines were all humming, making parts with care
In hopes that the shipping deadline would be spared.
Molding & Secondary, Elisha and her crew,
Found a rhythm at last and knew just what to do.
They’d run things in order and get the parts made,
To degate them and ship them and send them on their way!
Now Alex in Composites has a more seasoned team,
With Deb at his side making parts to the extreme.
Tubes, Flats, Vanes and Winding; everything ran,
Keeping projects on schedule and right on the plan.
Engineering and Tooling kept fixing things right,
Solving issues from morning, through noon, into night.
Chris led the charge with his team, and Quality,
Taming chaos with humor and just a touch of levity!
The office was buzzing with emails and calls,
Customer Service and Sales juggling vendor stalls.
The team, near and far, working spreadsheets & portals,
Battling madness with the strength of mere mortals!
HR was planning festivities and cheer,
With cocoa and cookies and eggnog this year.
Laurie had paperwork stacked to the roof,
But pushed it aside for some holiday goof!
Accounting was steady through budgets and spend,
With Jeff running numbers from beginning to end.
Dan and Danette crunching figures with grace,
Making sure every dollar was in the right place.
In Maintenance, Mike kept the machines running strong,
With his very skilled team fixing things all day long.
Loose belts, worn bearings, something broken… Yep!
Their motto each day: “When it breaks, fix it up!”
Out back in shipping, the pallets stood tall,
C**t & Izzy aligned labels; no mix-ups at all.
Forklifts were gliding as drivers took care
To send each final order out everywhere.
And our CEO Andy, walked Spaulding with pride,
Thanking the teams working hard, together, side by side.
Wave after wave, the work carried on,
Until he shouted from the rafters “The deadlines are gone!”
But the work is never over, not quite, not just yet,
For the holiday shutdown was still to be met.
A pause from the chaos, a much-needed rest,
To recharge, reset, and come back at our best.
So, bundle up tightly, the New Hampshire air bites!
Stay safe on the roads and the cold winter nights.
May peace fill your hearts and joy fill your days,
In all of the simplest, most meaningful ways.
And as the shift ended and folks headed home,
With boots and lunchboxes and tired feet of their own,
They heard someone say as they turned toward their spot:
“Merry Christmas to all — you’ve earned this… a LOT!”
