As many of our followers know, Rochester NH Scanner Alerts / Scanner Alerts Media Group generally does not share GoFundMe campaigns.
After careful review and verification, we have decided to make an exception in this case because it involves a local first responder and her family during an extraordinarily difficult time.
Rochester Police Sergeant Hattie Johnson’s youngest son, Lawson, suffered a traumatic brain injury following a motor vehicle crash while experiencing a mental health crisis. He is currently receiving treatment at Boston Children’s Hospital and faces a long road to recovery.
Sergeant Johnson has dedicated nearly a decade of service to the Rochester community, helping countless individuals and families through some of their most difficult moments. Today, her family is facing one of their own.
The family will be dealing with ongoing travel expenses, vehicle replacement costs, and medical-related expenses as Lawson continues his recovery.
The GoFundMe link will be posted in the comments for those who wish to support the Johnson family.
Please keep Lawson, Sergeant Johnson, and their entire family in your thoughts during this challenging time.
