After careful review and verification, we have decided to make an exception in this case because it involves a local first responder and her family during an extraordinarily difficult time.

Rochester Police Sergeant Hattie Johnson’s youngest son, Lawson, suffered a traumatic brain injury following a motor vehicle crash while experiencing a mental health crisis. He is currently receiving treatment at Boston Children’s Hospital and faces a long road to recovery.

Sergeant Johnson has dedicated nearly a decade of service to the Rochester community, helping countless individuals and families through some of their most difficult moments. Today, her family is facing one of their own.

The family will be dealing with ongoing travel expenses, vehicle replacement costs, and medical-related expenses as Lawson continues his recovery.

One of our tow trucks was just hit on Laconia Rd in Tilton, NH, and the other driver fled the scene.
We’re looking for a silver Lincoln sedan that should have fresh damage from the accident. If anyone in the area sees a vehicle matching that description, please message us or contact local police.

Huge shout out to our driver for staying calm and avoiding what could have been a very serious accident.
