Not every property needs the same kind of clearing.

Field mowing works well for grass, weeds, and lighter seasonal growth. Forestry mulching is better suited to woody brush, saplings, and heavier vegetation that has moved into a field edge or unused section of a property.

The right choice depends on what is growing, the terrain, and what you want the ground ready for next. NH Forestry Services helps property owners across Strafford, Merrimack, and Belknap Counties make that call before work begins.

A heavy tree line can make the rest of a property harder to manage.

Low limbs, dead growth, brush, and volunteer saplings can close off access, crowd fences, and complicate mowing or drainage work. Selective clearing opens the edge while keeping healthy trees where they belong.

NH Forestry Services provides brush removal, tree removal, forestry mulching, and property reclamation for landowners across Strafford, Merrimack, and Belknap Counties.

A field can slowly lose usable ground at the edges.

Saplings, thorny brush, and creeping wood lines make mowing harder and reduce the space available for pasture, storage, recreation, or future planting. Clearing the edge with the end use in mind keeps the project focused and avoids removing more than necessary.

NH Forestry Services handles field reclamation, brush removal, forestry mulching, and stump grinding across New Hampshire’s Strafford, Merrimack, and Belknap Counties.

Expansion work around a private airfield needs a corridor that works beyond the first construction day.

Brush removal, root cleanup, drainage access, and future maintenance should be considered together. Clearing only the visible path can leave the next phase working around avoidable obstacles.

NH Forestry Services prepares aviation facility expansion corridors with professional-grade equipment and more than 10 years of hands-on experience.

Found space you forgot you had 🌲

A homeowner in Rochester, NH had an old railroad spur cutting across the back of their lot. It was packed down and level: but decades of brush, saplings, and wild raspberry had swallowed it whole. It had become nothing but an impassable tangle.

We brought in a tracked forestry mulcher and cleared the whole corridor in one pass. No burn piles, no haul-away trucks, no ruts in the yard. The mulch stayed on site, packed down firm, and turned that forgotten rail bed into a level, walkable trail that doubles as a shortcut to the garden.

Now the back half of the property is open, usable, and actually gets used.

If you've got a corner of your property that used to be something: a path, a play area, a view: let's bring it back. We serve Strafford, Merrimack, and Belknap Counties. Owner-operated, 10+ years on the machine, straightforward quotes.

The first clearing pass does not always finish the job.

Roots, stumps, rocks, and loose debris can remain in the work area after brush is removed. A root rake helps gather and separate that material before grading, access work, or construction begins.

That extra step matters when the next contractor needs a more consistent surface instead of a site full of buried surprises.

NH Forestry Services provides practical land clearing and site preparation throughout Strafford, Merrimack, and Belknap Counties. Owner-operated, licensed, insured, and straightforward from the first site visit.

The woods have been taking your yard back one foot at a time.

It happens slowly enough that you don't notice, and then one summer you realize the tree line is twenty feet closer than it used to be and half the lawn is in shade by 3pm.

Yard expansion is one of the most satisfying jobs we do. Push the edge back, open the space up, and suddenly there's room for the fire pit, the garden, or just a yard the kids can actually run around in.

Still time to get it done this year.

Hunters — this one's for you.

Shooting lanes, trail access, food plot ground, a clean path in to the stand. All of it is a lot easier to deal with in August than it is in October with a bow in your hand.

We clear trails, open up overgrown lanes, and mulch brush on hunting property across the area. Season's coming up quick. There's still time.

A clear property line is the first line of defense before construction begins.

New Hampshire’s HB 1135 legislative update has brought renewed attention to adverse possession and prescriptive rights involving private roads and trails. For builders, developers, and property managers, that makes established and visible boundaries more important than ever.

Brush and overgrowth can hide boundary lines, access rights, and easements. Clearing those lines helps keep future construction inside the parcel, protects established access, and reduces the chance of disputes with neighboring properties.

NH Forestry Services provides professional brush removal, forestry mulching, and land clearing along property lines and easements throughout Strafford, Merrimack, and Belknap Counties.

We’re owner-operated, fully licensed and insured, and bring more than 10 years of hands-on experience to every job. Communication is straightforward, and our equipment is built for efficient work and fast turnarounds.

Call (603) 312-7282 to schedule boundary-line clearing before fall rains and winter set in.
