Then & Now at Day Dream Farm Winery. Long before there were w**e glasses, tasting flights, and beautiful garden views, this was simply a working farm.
This week, let’s talk pigs!
For several years, we raised four pigs at a time right here on the farm. And let’s just say…the DW was their Pied Piper! Wherever he went, they followed. Around the farm, from one place to another, those four little shadows were never far behind.
Today, it’s hard to picture those days when you look around. The pigs’ old stomping grounds in the front are now our second parking lot, while the back of the property is home to our grassy septic mounds. When we didn't have pigs roam the property, the area was used to grow pumpkins.
The landscape has certainly changed, but the memories are still part of what makes this place special.
Then: A working farm, complete with four very devoted pig followers.
Now: A w**ery, garden, and gathering place, with a parking lot where the pigs once roamed!
Some things change. Some things stay rooted. And some stories are just too good not to share.
