A look back at last week: We teamed up with Hoogendoorn Construction to haul away debris as they took down the old Inwood Community Center. Always glad to lend a hand on local projects!

This was an extremely tight jobsite, with an approximately 10,000 sq. ft. building and very little room for water to naturally drain.

When you’re building on a tight site, water management becomes a BIG part of the job.

That means a LOT of roof runoff, and there wasn’t anywhere for that water to go. 💦

So, 100% of the water needed to be captured and directed to the storm sewer system.

To make that happen, we installed:
🔹 Gutter/downspout piping to collect the roof runoff
🔹 Underground storm piping to transport the water
🔹 A large basin to collect and manage the flow

From start to finish this job included:
• Site prep
• Digging the footings
• Dirt hauling
• Backfilling
• Grading for the parking lot
• Final grade

Yesterday we started the next phase at HempAgra. Today the footings are dug and ready for what’s next.

We are in Inwood stripping topsoil at an acreage, preparing the site for basement excavation.

A local dairy farmer needed to get rid of some excess dirt, 120+ side dump loads were hauled from the site.

Over the years this building has served the community as the Main Street Bar and Grill and most recently a bakery, holding many memories for the town
