🎉 Congratulations to Bryson & Jaivyn Van Grootheest on their new business, VG Air!

I had the opportunity to help them get their new business looking sharp and ready to go! Their order included:

✨ Custom lettering designed, produced & installed on their drone trailer and pickup windows
👕 Work shirts & sweatshirts with DTF heat-pressed logos
🔥 Domed & beveled FlexStyle patches for some of their nicer apparel
🧢 Flexbroidery logos to finish off the hats

It was fun putting together several different products and techniques to give VG Air a consistent look from their equipment to their apparel.

Work in Progress 🚛✨

The boys at Davelaar Farms gave the cab and frame a fresh coat of paint, and it turned out amazing! I got to add the finishing touches with some custom stripes, along with the name and numbers.

Now it’s back in their hands to finish up the rest of the project. Can’t wait to see this one all put together!

📣 A Little Update from Strait Up Signs n Designs

I wanted to give everyone a heads-up that I will be having a total hip replacement toward the end of September. Because of this, I am planning to be shut down for the month of October while I recover.

My hope is to get back to work as soon as I’m able, even if that means starting back part-time and slowly working my way up. I’ll do my best to keep everyone updated as I see how recovery goes.

Since Strait Up Signs n Designs is a one-person operation, I just ask for a little extra patience and understanding during this time. ❤️ I truly appreciate every single person who supports my small business, and I promise I’ll be back at it as soon as my new hip lets me! 😊

If you have something you know you’ll need this fall, please reach out to me ahead of time so I can do my best to get you taken care of before surgery.

A little different kind of signage project for Brad & Kathy Kooima!

I made several identification signs to help clearly mark their buildings, office, and entrances, and then added something a little more unique.

We found a couple of boulders that were just right, sandblasted the addresses directly into the stone, painted the lettering, and had them placed at the correct locations. 🪨

At Strait Up Signs n Designs, we love taking an idea and figuring out how to make it happen. From traditional signs and vinyl to something completely custom like these address boulders. If you have an idea, give me a call! Chances are, we can find a way to bring it to life.

What better way to celebrate a marriage and the start of a new chapter than with something made just for their acreage. ❤️

I had the opportunity to create this custom AJW Farms sign, bringing together the details that represent their life on the farm!

The sign was produced by Strait Up Signs n Designs and ready for them to install at home, and they did an awesome job finishing it off!

🏢 It’s official! Peoples Insurance has moved!

As of August 3rd, everyone is officially settled into the new building at 1420 10th Street!

I helped with a few of the finishing touches during the transition. At the old location, I removed the building signage and added a temporary “WE’VE MOVED!” Coroplast sign to the monument so customers know exactly where to find them.

Over at the new building, I installed ADA-compliant restroom signage, along with new vinyl door lettering for hours, entrances, and other identification.

A lot goes into moving a business, and signage is one of those details that helps make the transition complete. Thank you to People’s Insurance for having Strait Up Signs n Designs be a part of it!
