We are expanding our grooming staff with an experienced full time groomer who can work with all breeds.

Business is open Tuesday-Saturday.
Should be available to work on Saturday’s a must, you must be patient and gentle with dogs, you must be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time.

* 2 years minimum Experience is required for this position.

You must be familiar with clipping, sc******ng, bathing, blow drying dogs, cleaning (We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our shop); customer care is required in this position. You should be a team player who is professional, dependable, and takes pride in his or her work.
Someone with a gently hand, who has a high level of patience that can be calm & assuring to those not sure about the grooming experience for 1st time groom clientele. Ensuring client and pets feel welcome and comfortable. Suggesting retail products and other services to clients.

Qualifications:
• min 2 years Experience with dog grooming, all coats and breeds.
• Passion to help and treat animals
• Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
• Positive attitude, patience, detail-oriented, strong work ethic, reliable, love, love, love dogs and be easy to work with

Do you have a passion for working with animals? Do you enjoy a high-energy, fast-paced work setting? Poodle Showcase may be the place for you! Poodle Showcase is seeking to hire someone who is ambitious, reliable, and responsible as a Part Time Bather we are open Tuesday - Saturday.

• Must be able to work long hours and weekends
• Must meet the physical requirements of the job (be active and on your feet all day, able to lift up to 50 lbs., able to handle dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels).
• Must be an Animal lover, Energetic, Ambitious, Team player, Personable, Reliable, Punctual, Dependable, Good People skills, and Organized
• Must have Excellent communication skills
• Take direction well and apply it independently
• Help with cleaning at end of day

THE ROCKAWAY FOOD CLOSET NEEDS YOUR HELP. We assist about 150 families every month. We are struggling to keep food on our shelves - it goes out as quickly as it comes in.

Please consider donating a few of the following:
cereal, pasta, canned vegetables, beans, canned fruit, macaroni & cheese, packaged starches(boxed potatoes, stuffing, rice, etc), canned meats and meals, tuna, crackers, coffee and tea.
All nonperishable food items are welcome!

If you belong to any teams, groups or clubs who would consider doing a food drive, please do it as soon as possible. No amount is too small -- it all adds up and enables us to help our neighbors in need.
