Today, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters recognizes World Su***de Prevention Day and September as National Su***de Prevention Month.

Through the work of the Teamsters Human Rights and Diversity Commission and the Teamsters Education Department, our union is dedicated to ensuring that our members and their families have the tools and support needed to treat mental health conditions and prevent su***de.

The Teamsters are committed to ending the stigma surrounding mental health awareness and su***de prevention. If you or someone you know is experiencing a crisis, dial 988 to immediately connect with a professional at the National Su***de and Crisis Hotline.

Any ZUM employees who have not signed union cards please stop down to 5533 11th street in the Teamster Hall Saturday at 1pm. We will be there for any questions or concerns or just a meet and greet. We have earned the support of AFSCME Council 31 in our campaign to represent the people of Illinois’ 16th Congressional District.

Good Morning. We want ZUM employees to know we are looking into why they are letting people of color go with no explanation or reasons whatsoever. We reached out to management and they are acting like it’s no big deal. As you know we already have Labor Charges filed for union discrimination as well. We will have a meeting as soon as we find out information. Thank you.
