Since our founding in 1910, Roper Whitney has called Rockford, IL home.

But we aren't the only ones. Rockford's rich manufacturing history touches everything from agricultural and heavy machinery to automotive, aerospace, furniture, fasteners, and even socks (say hello to the sock monkey!).

And today, manufacturing in the Rockford region keeps going strong. Residents know companies by name, friends find work across industries, Jeeps sport "Screw City" stickers, and rivets bat base hits for their very own baseball games.
