Great time at Proficient Pistol with a solid group of new and returning students. Scott was a great AI, and we couldn’t have asked for better weather. We have had a lot of request for another one of these before summer’s end, so we are going to try to get another one on the calendar.

LE guys, Tim and I are teaching a 32hr Patrol Rifle Instructor class next week through MTU2 (NITAB Rockford.) There are still a couple spots left if anyone wants to jump in. Feel free to share with your people.

Who doesn’t want to spend 4 days shooting rifles? Weather looks great, engagements from 5-250 yards, a bangin’ qualification standard, and you get to see Tim for 4 days. It doesn’t get any better. Hope to see you there!

What has been on your reading list lately?

I am finishing up Empire of the Summer Moon and it has been an extremely interesting read. Before that was Build a Business you Love by Dave Ramsey (great for small business owners), and before that one was Lincoln on Leadership by Donald Phillips (two thumbs up!)

Up next is Inside the Criminal Mind by Stanton Samenow.
