Get ready to Cruise-In The Rock for its 30th Annual celebration!

It’s always encouraging to see our downtown business owners actively engaged in shaping our future, rather than just observing from the sidelines. Today, Jason at Enthuza Cycles and Tina Lanier, our Downtown Authority’s Outreach Committee chair, hosted this month’s Coffee Drop on maximizing the potential of the Silver Comet Trail right here in Historic Downtown Rockmart.

Jason gave us a fantastic look at what Enthuza Cycles is bringing to the table and shared some exciting hints about what’s on the horizon. These Coffee Drop meetings are vital—they bring our business owners together, providing a real vehicle for collaboration and tangible growth.

There is so much more happening in this town than many realize. It’s easy to look elsewhere and wish for something different, but we are focused on building something uniquely ours. We are Rockmart—The One and Only—and we’re proud to be like no other town.

At the Georgia Downtown Conference this week with Ann and Scott, soaking up ideas from downtown folks all over the state.

I keep coming back to how lucky we are that the City of Rockmart actually believes in this district — not every downtown gets that kind of backing. It’s a good reminder that when a city chooses to invest like that, the rest of us have to show up and be good stewards of it. That’s not lost on me.

Grateful for the Georgia Downtown Association too, for putting on something like this every year. Bringing home a notebook full of ideas for Historic Downtown Rockmart.

This morning we had the honor of celebrating a ribbon-cutting for the new owners of Precious Paws, Dr. and Mrs. Harvey Tran.

It was wonderful to see so many family members, friends, and community supporters gathered together. We were especially honored to have the founder and former owners of Precious Paws with us as they celebrated this special new chapter alongside the Tran family.

Hearing Dr. and Mrs. Tran share how they found their way to Rockmart and Precious Paws was a heartfelt reminder of the power of prayer, God‘s perfect timing, and a community that welcomes people with open arms.

Aaron Tippin is the headliner with Rockmart’s very own Midnight Pine as the opening act.
