ROCKPORT COUNCIL ON AGING RESOURCE FAIR TOMORROW 9-12AM

I am so proud to have been included in tomorrow's Resource Fair in Rockport at the Council on Aging.

Don't miss the Resource Fair and Open House at the RCKPT COA and Community House tomorrow, Wednesday from 9-12. There will be more than a dozen helpful community partners here on site ready to answer your questions and offer assistance. So nice to talk to people face to face isn't it?

Upstairs, there will be a rotation of activities including a performance by the line dancing class (9:30) a free yoga class (10:45) a fitness sampler class (12:00) and finishing the day with an open invitation to try the drum circle. Here's your chance to explore the center and try a class, just like a secret shopper. Tour the facility, check out our office center and fitness gym, all free to the public. And, best of all, pick up a free pass to a future class just for stopping by.

For your convenience, a free continuous shuttle will run between the Rckpt transfer station (Bluegate Lane) and the Community House. Park and ride for free from 8:30- 1:30.

The Gloucester/Rockport community is quite somber as we mourn the loss of the crew of the Lily Jean last week. I want to share a link with everyone so that if you feel like donating in order to help the families of those lost, you are able to do so. Thank you.

On Friday, January 30, 2026, the Gloucester fishing vessel Lily Jean sank approximately 22 miles from Cape Ann, resulting in the tragic loss of the seven lives of its crew.
