A quick heads up for this season—

Credit card processing fees are beyond our control, and we don’t want to build those costs into your mount price.

If our mount prices go up, it will only be because the cost of materials has gone up.

Yes, you heard it here yesterday — we aren’t taking in full processing this season. We’ll still help you with field processing and get you headed in the right direction.
Step 1: Get the big guy.
Step 2: Gut it if you want — or bring it to us.
Step 3: We’ll field process it, cape it out for your shoulder mount, and get you packaged up to head to the processor of your choice — cooler, bags, however you prefer.
We’ll keep your trophy here and take care of the taxidermy right here in Rocksprings.
And remember: the tag goes with the meat. The tag goes with the meat.

Quick update from The Hide Out Taxidermy for the 2026–2027 season!
The Hide Out Taxidermy is staying busy, and to keep up with the volume of taxidermy work, we will no longer be offering full processing. We will still offer field processing and cooler storage.
Our goal is to stay focused on quality taxidermy and maintaining our 10–11 month turnaround time.
