20 years ago today, Prince surprised members of his NPG Music Club by releasing the instrumental album Xpectation directly to them. The cover art, created by Sam Jennings, wasn’t seen until 2015, when Prince uploaded the album to TIDAL.

Spare and jazz-inspired, the Xpectation album features Prince, Rhonda Smith, Candy Dulfer, Vanessa-Mae, and John Blackwell.

Nia Phillips of “Tooties Treats and Candy Apples” is the guru of dessert bars and assorted popular sweets. Her candied and chocolate covered treats are delightful and are “the feature” spotlight of all gifts and candy bars. While in the lab, she upgrades our favorite traditional refreshments with indulgent confectionary enhancements. Cookies, apples, pretzels, fruit and more she plays with colors, glitter, marble, ombré, chocolate, caramel, candy and more. She has a full event calendar and orders need to be placed far in advance. As a method of self-care Nia takes pride in her work and pampers herself simultaneously. She eagerly looks forward to experimenting on variations of chocolate infused with something to awaken our palate. Her taste and love of good quality food is amazing. Any recommendation is spot on.
