📢 Building Unity Within Our Community
Parke County leaders came together for the very first Parke County Leadership Gathering, marking the beginning of a new quarterly initiative designed to strengthen connections across our county.
Representatives from education, tourism, health & human services, county and municipal government, public safety, nonprofits and social services, economic development, agriculture, and state and regional partner organizations joined the conversation, demonstrating a shared commitment to the future of Parke County.
Attendees were welcomed by Colleen Engle, Executive Director of the Parke County Community Foundation, who helped kick off an engaging discussion centered on collaboration, communication, and community growth.
These quarterly gatherings are designed to:
✅ Foster unity and collaboration among organizations
✅ Provide educational and networking opportunities
✅ Address community concerns and challenges
✅ Recognize and celebrate accomplishments across Parke County
