⭐ 5 Star Friday ⭐

Buying a home doesn't come with an HVAC manual.

Most of us are learning as we go.

So when a homeowner says someone took the time to explain everything in a way they could understand, that's worth celebrating.

Thank you for sharing your experience and helping another family know they're not expected to have all the answers. ❤️🔥

This week, Wes talked about something we all face...

Conflict.

When it's this hot outside, emotions can run hot too.

And the truth is, we only get a snapshot of what someone may be carrying when they cross our path.

A customer.

A coworker.

A family member.

We rarely know the whole story.

That's why Wes challenged us to lead with empathy.

Not because it's always easy...

But because it's the right thing to do.

He shared that conflict resolution wasn't always a strength of his either. In fact, after promoting to captain in the fire service, he realized he had a lot to learn. Through training, mentors, and years of intentional practice, he discovered that resolving conflict is a skill.

And like any skill...

It can be learned.

It can be practiced.

It can be refined.

Whether at work, at home, or anywhere in between, life gets a little easier when we seek to understand before we seek to respond.

Empathy doesn't mean lowering your standards.

It means remembering there's a person on the other side of the conversation.

That's part of The Firehouse Way. ❤️‍🔥

Sometimes the greatest compliment isn't excitement—it's peace of mind.

When someone feels confident after a service visit, it means they can stop wondering, stop worrying, and start feeling at ease in their own home again.

We're thankful this homeowner chose to share that feeling with others. Reviews like this help neighbors make informed decisions and remind us that trust is built one visit at a time.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of your home's story. ❤️🔥

This week, Wes reminded us of something we never want to lose.

We've been through hard seasons.

We've celebrated big wins.

But neither one should change who we are.

He challenged us to slow down... just enough to care well.

To make every customer feel like they're the only one we have.

To look around and notice when a teammate is overwhelmed.

To ask questions.

To step in and help.

Because that's how great teams are built.

Wes said something that really stuck:

"Let's keep building this without losing what made Firehouse... Firehouse."

It's easy to let growth become the goal.

But for us, it never has been.

The revenue is just the scoreboard.

It's not what drives us.

What drives us is the privilege of serving people, standing shoulder to shoulder as one team, and building something we're proud to be a part of.

As Wes told the team:

"I see you. I see the sacrifices you're making."

"So thank you."

That's the Firehouse Way. ❤️‍🔥

Homeowners shouldn't have to pretend they understand something they don't.

We smiled reading this one because it reminds us that the best conversations happen when someone feels comfortable enough to ask, listen, and leave with a clearer understanding than when they started.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Your words are a reminder that kindness and clarity still matter. ❤️🔥

One thing we never want to overlook is the people behind the work.

We extended our appreciation to a couple of teammates who weren’t there for the original conversation.

First up, James.

Wes recognized the attitude James brings every day.

He shows up.

He works hard.

And maybe most importantly, he listens.

He seeks counsel, takes coaching well, and is willing to learn.

That kind of coachability is rare, and watching his growth has been pretty special.

Then there’s Dusty.

If there’s one word that describes him, it’s loyal.

Our little company has asked him to pivot more than once, especially through a hard year.

And every time, he has found a way to step in, adjust, and keep helping wherever he’s needed.

He carries a lot.

And he does it because he cares about this team and the people we serve.

James and Dusty, thank you for the way you show up.

We see it.

We appreciate it.

And we’re blessed to have you both as part of the Firehouse family. ❤️‍🔥

⭐ 5 Star Friday ⭐

There is something special about a customer being so pleased with their experience that they want everyone else to know who helped them.

This recommendation was filled with genuine appreciation for Fardeen, and we are grateful this homeowner chose to share it so openly. Words like these do more than brighten someone’s day. They remind our team that the care they give inside each home truly matters.

Thank you for taking the time to recognize Fardeen and encourage others with your experience. ❤️🔥

One thing we never want to overlook is the people behind the work.

As we wrap up this series, Wes recognizes one of his closest friends and someone who's been with him since their days in the fire service.

Jerry.

Wes likes to joke that Jerry is the glue that keeps his organized chaos together.

And honestly... there's probably a lot of truth to that.

Jerry leads our multifamily division, where every day brings new challenges, changing priorities, and hundreds of moving pieces.

It takes someone who's steady.

Someone who communicates well.

Someone who's willing to adapt when the plan changes—which, in multifamily, is almost every day.

For years, Jerry has been that person.

The kind of teammate every organization hopes to have.

Dependable.

Loyal.

Always looking for a way to help move the mission forward.

Jerry, thank you for your friendship, your leadership, and for the heart you bring to this team. We're blessed to have you as part of the Firehouse family. ❤️‍🔥

⭐ 5 Star Friday ⭐

Questions are a good thing.

When a homeowner feels comfortable asking "one more question," it means they're invested in their home and want to make the best decision for their family. We love seeing reviews from people who weren't afraid to ask—and took the time afterward to encourage others by sharing their experience.

Thank you for trusting us in your home and for leaving such kind words. Your recommendation may be exactly what gives another family the confidence to reach out when they need help. ❤️🔥

One thing we never want to overlook is the people behind the work.

This week, Wes recognizes Jennifer.

Most of what she does will never be seen by our customers.

But they benefit from it every single day.

Behind every truck that's on the road...

Every paycheck that lands in a team member's account...

Every permit, registration, report, and yes... more spreadsheets than anyone should have to look at...

There's someone making sure the business keeps moving forward.

It's the kind of work that doesn't ask for attention.

It just quietly gets done.

And because of that, our team can stay focused on what matters most—serving our customers.

Jennifer, thank you for everything you do behind the scenes. Your work keeps this team moving, and we're grateful you're part of the Firehouse family. ❤️‍🔥
