🚨 SECURITY HIRING EVENT – THIS THURSDAY 🚨

We’re hosting a Security Hiring Event at our security training center in Rocky Hill, CT this Thursday, August 27, with immediate opportunities available. Contract is set to begin on September 1st.

Experience is NOT required! This is a great opportunity for those brand new to the security industry.

Open Positions:
Unarmed Security Officer ($19/hr starting) - All locations
Site Supervisor ($20/hr starting) - Willington location only

We had another great Adult/Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification course last night! Coaches, teachers, security, medical - a very diverse group of backgrounds looking to become certified through the American Red Cross!

VERY BIG NEWS that many of you have been waiting for - after a five-month long wait, CT Security Training Center has been approved to begin running BLUE CARD (armed officer endorsement) courses!

We talk about terrorism in our CT Guard Card courses, but this news article should serve as a reminder especially to those of you working in critical infrastructure.

After carefully considering the best location, our brand-new ZOLL AED Plus is now mounted and ready inside our training center.

We hope it is never needed, but having an AED readily available adds an important layer of safety for everyone inside our training center.

Did you know, when defibrillation occurs within the first three to five minutes, survival rates can be as high as 50–70% in certain cardiac arrests?

It’s another important investment in the safety of everyone who trains with us.

We have a very big addition to announce for those who will be joining us in class soon! Our brand-new AED arrived today, and it's one more step toward making our training environment as safe and professional as possible.

Not every private training provider has an AED on-site, but we believe it's something worth investing in. If we're teaching emergency response, it only makes sense that we have the equipment available if it's ever needed.

Thank you to the American Red Cross Connecticut for helping us select the right AED for our training center - we greatly appreciate the guidance!
