Day 2 of F.O.R.G.E.
O is for Ownership.
One of the biggest lessons I've learned in the Army, in business, and in life is that growth starts the moment we stop making excuses and start taking ownership.
Ownership isn't about being perfect.
It's about being accountable.
It's admitting when you got it wrong.
Having the hard conversations.
Following through on commitments.
And accepting responsibility for the results, whether they're good or bad.
I've found that the people who grow the fastest aren't always the smartest or most talented.
They're the ones willing to look in the mirror and ask:
"What could I have done better?"
Ownership builds trust.
Ownership builds leaders.
Ownership builds stronger businesses, stronger families, and stronger communities.
At the end of the day, we can't control everything that happens to us, but we can control how we respond.
That's ownership.
