Good morning my friends! I hope everyone had an amazing Labor Day weekend. I can’t thank you enough for such an amazing season. From all our neighbors on the lakes with private docks to our new tenants and of course our existing tenants THANK YOU! I am humbled by your continued patronage!
Keep an eye on the lake. The water is 5’ below normal as I write this. New object will start surfacing. Shallow points. Trees. For new boaters out there, they and stay a little closer to the “bluff” side of the lake. That will be your deeper water. Where the river originally ran. If you own private docks use caution to be sure your dock does not set down on a tree and hang it up. Ramps will be steep so be careful.
I hope I am wrong, which I usually am, but we might see some EXTREME low water this fall and winter unless we get a lot of rain.
We have adjusted our store hours for the off season. We will be open 10-3 Monday thru Friday and 10-4 on Saturday and Sunday. We will keep those hours as long as there is demand and the weather holds up.
For all of you who will be shopping the off season boat sales, please keep us in mind for your slip rental needs. Don’t wait till spring and not have a chance to have a slip for the upcoming season. We would love to have you with the Horseshoe Bend family!
