Join the Bentonville Police Department for our Senior Citizens One-Day Police Academy on August 11, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 2:45 PM!

This free, informative event is designed to help seniors stay informed, connected, and safe while providing a behind-the-scenes look at your local police department.

During the academy, participants will learn about:

🚨 Current scams and fraud prevention
❤️ Health and wellness resources
👮 The different divisions of the Bentonville Police Department
🐕 K-9 Unit demonstrations
💣 Bomb Squad operations and equipment
🤝 Community safety programs and services

This event is hosted in partnership with Seniors and Law Enforcement Together (SALT), who will be providing lunch for all attendees.

The Schmieding Center for Senior Health and Education in Springdale is having a mini health fair on Wednesday, June 3, from 9-12 pm. They are a wonderful resource for families who are living with Alzheimer's and dementia.
