Meet Diesel — the newest member of the Poor Valley Creek family! 🐾❤️

This sweet little guy is a 7-week-old Anatolian Shepherd/Maremma mix, and while he may be a fluffy little baby right now, he has a pretty important job ahead of him. Diesel will grow up alongside our animals and become their loyal guardian and protector.

Today was his very first day on the farm, and I’d say it was a success! He made the rounds meeting all the farm animals, explored his new home, took his very first swim in the creek, and even got the official approval from Zeus; the two of them are already getting along just fine!

There is something so special about watching a little soul experience his new world for the first time…especially knowing that someday this tiny fluff ball is going to be a BIG boy watching over everyone here.

For now, though, he’s got a lot of growing, learning, exploring—and probably a fair amount of mischief—to do.

Welcome home, Diesel! Your Poor Valley Creek adventure has officially begun. 🌿🐾✨

Hubby is working hard and getting ready for hunting season! 🦌🦃 He’s building a state-of-the-art enclosed deer stand. It’s not finished yet and😍 I’m already amazed at how it’s coming together. This man definitely doesn’t do anything halfway❤️ Can’t wait to see the finished product!

🍇Finished these faux stained glass grapevine windows and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out! The colors are even more beautiful in person. Such a fun project! 🍷💜✨

A big shoutout and thank you to Morrison's Hoof Care! 🐴 ❤️

Josh made the trek all the way from Crossville to our farm here in Rogersville to take care of our girls, Janie and Red, and we couldn’t have been more pleased. He did a wonderful job with both mares, and we truly appreciate him being willing to travel so far to get them taken care of.

Finding a good farrier closer to our area has been a bit of a challenge, so we’re especially grateful that Josh was willing to make the drive. We’re looking forward to continuing to work with him and having him as part of Janie & Red’s care team. ❤️🐎

And here’s my little selfish plug on his behalf 😂 — if you’re in the Rogersville/Hawkins County or surrounding area and looking for a farrier, give Morrison’s Hoof Care a shout! Maybe we can help Josh build up a few more clients out our way so when he makes the trek from Crossville, he can make a whole day of it!
