Day 28 away from home on the Little Giant Fire. 🔥

Haven’t posted much since Day 6, but we’re still out here putting in the long days. Running the masticator, working through the smoke, and doing our part wherever we’re needed.

28 days away from home is a long time, but I’m thankful for the opportunity to do what I do and be part of a team working hard in some pretty tough conditions.

Definitely missing my family and looking forward to getting home, but until then, we keep pushing. 💪

Prayers for everyone still working this fire and all the crews out there doing their part. Stay safe.

Day 6 on the Little Giant Fire operating a masticator for another contractor.

While firefighters are on the front lines, there’s a lot happening behind the scenes to help slow the fire’s spread. Our job is creating fuel breaks by grinding up brush and small trees, reducing the available fuel ahead of the fire and giving crews a better chance to hold the line.

It’s long days, smoky conditions, and demanding work, but it’s rewarding to be part of a team protecting communities, infrastructure, and our forests.

Praying for everyone’s safety on this incident and for all the firefighters and support personnel working across the West. 🇺🇸🔥

We are currently completing a series of outdoor dirt work projects while preparing for two upcoming bathroom remodels scheduled back-to-back over the next few weeks.

This stretch of good weather allows us to stay ahead on site work, property improvements, and preparation for upcoming interior renovations. Our goal is always to maintain an efficient schedule while delivering high-quality craftsmanship on every project.
