Many people think that because THC is legal in their state, it cannot be part of an employment drug test. That is not the case in most states. Legality does not immediately affect corporate policy. While more employers are asking for ma*****na (THC) to be removed from their pre-employment drug testing it's not the case for all.
New types of tests (currently oral swabs) are being developed that will work like breathalyzers do for alcohol. These tests will identify if the psychoactive component of THC is in your system at the time of the test. Useful for random and probable cause testing. We're watching to see how this plays out in California which tends to lead the way regarding personal rights over corporate policy.
