Maintenance Tip Monday
Just because a detector is installed doesn't mean it's working.
Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are one of the most important safety systems in any building, but they're often forgotten until an emergency occurs.

Take a few minutes to:
1. Test all detectors
2. Replace batteries if needed
3. Check expiration dates
4. Replace units that are over 10 years old

Safety starts with prevention. When was the last time your detectors were tested?
Save this post as a reminder and share it with someone responsible for a building.

Maintenance Tip Monday
Small leaks often become big repairs.

Take a quick look under your kitchen and bathroom sinks for:
1. Water stains
2. Damp cabinet bottoms
3. Dripping connections
4. Musty odors
A slow leak can quietly damage cabinets, flooring, drywall, and even create mold problems. A 30 second inspection today could prevent a costly repair tomorrow.

Have you checked under your sinks recently?
Share this tip with a homeowner or property manager who could use the reminder.

Maintenance Tip Monday
One loose mat or uneven walkway can become a costly liability.
Take a walk around your property and look for:
-Loose entrance mats
-Damaged flooring
-Uneven sidewalks
-Cracked concrete
-Poorly secured cords
Many trip hazards develop gradually, making them easy to overlook until someone gets hurt.
What's the most common safety issue you notice in commercial buildings?

Homeowner Question of the Month
If someone gave you $5,000 to improve your home tomorrow, what would you spend it on?
Would it be:
🛁 A bathroom update
🍳 A kitchen upgrade
🌳 An outdoor living space
🎨 Fresh paint
🏠 Something else entirely
Tell us what you'd choose in the comments.
You never know. Your idea might inspire someone else's next project.

Maintenance Tip Monday: Before plugging in that pressure washer, string lights, or power tools, take a minute to test your outdoor GFCI outlets. GFCI outlets are designed to help protect you from electrical shock, especially in wet locations.
Testing is simple:
1. Press the TEST button
2. Verify power shuts off
3. Press RESET to restore power
If the outlet doesn't respond properly, it may need attention.
Have you ever had an outdoor outlet stop working unexpectedly?
