The Tern colony at a south shore beach has not had the numbers I recall from past visits. Not sure if its the weather as we had such a late start to warm weather and we had significantly strong rains -- the beach also has some odd erosion where the high tide line really restricts placement of people and the roped off nesting area.

Here is one of the few feeding moments I witnessed... Many others were deep in the tall grasses.
