I've been putting in almost all my free time into gardening and getting our new yard in shape this month. So much hard work, but I can't think of any better way to spend my time. Tending to the earth and your immediate environment is tending to yourself. It is absolutely self care. After working in the dirt, don't wash your hands before digging into a snack. Microbes and nutrients that used to be in our food are in that dirt under your fingernails and it's actually great for you! @ Roseburg, Oregon

I did SO MUCH clearing of flower beds this weekend after 20 years of not have my own piece of dirt to dig in. I let the dandelions be, however. They are beautiful and tasty and plant medicine. I think I would be happy with a whole yard full of them. Don't let anyone ever tell you what is valuable and worthwhile in your own environment. As an organizer, I support and respect your own unique needs and vision for your space. What makes you happiest might not be for anyone else but you and that beautiful.

I'll be in Portland this weekend 5/12-14 and available for consultations on future work. No charge for mileage from Roseburg because I'm up there anyway for family. Let me take a look at what you need and we can start making a plan for getting it done. If I can get enough of you to schedule in the next month or so, we can split the mileage and schedule you all for the same week. Take advantage that I'm in town. It'll only take a half hour for me to see your space, assess the work involved and start forming ideas and solutions that will work for you.

No need to prep-clean or pre-organize for a consultation. It's actually better for me to see it at its worst, so I can identify tendencies and find solutions in line with those tendencies. You won't get an ounce if judgement from me, a mess is the gift that keeps on giving for someone who loves organizing as much as I do! Spring has sprung. Lets do this!
