Join us on Thursday, September 17th, 4:30–6:00 PM at Columbia Bank (445 SE Main St, Roseburg, OR) for an evening of networking, conversation, and community engagement.

🎉 We’re excited to introduce Chamber News & Insights, a new storytelling platform from the Roseburg Area Chamber of Commerce!

For our very first story, we’re highlighting the ribbon cutting for Umpqua Community College’s new Track & Field Complex, sponsored by Rogue Credit Union.

This project represents much more than a new athletic facility. It reflects years of vision, community investment, the return of collegiate track and field to UCC, and new opportunities to bring athletes, families and visitors to Roseburg and Douglas County.

Our first Chamber News & Insights story looks at the people and partnerships behind the project, the regional athletes already traveling here to compete, and the economic development opportunity created when sporting events bring visitors and spending into our community.

This is exactly what Chamber News & Insights was created to do: tell the deeper stories behind the investments, partnerships, businesses and people shaping the future of our region.

The Oregon Department of Veterans' Affairs is inviting the community on August 27 for a town hall from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the OSU Annex Conference Room at 1134 SE Douglas Ave. in Roseburg (adjacent to the Douglas County Courthouse) focused on the effort to build a third Oregon Veterans’ Home in Roseburg.

Hear the latest updates on where the project stands and current efforts to move the Home forward.

Following the briefing, community members will have an opportunity to ask questions and hear directly from ODVA leadership about the project.
