Our thoughts are with those affected by Hurricane Harvey and those in the path of Hurricane Irma.
Our home office team spent last week collecting funds and donations. We would like to acknowledge Peter Piatek from our accounting department who led the charge in gathering goods, spent the weekend shopping for necessities, and brought the donations to a semi truck that went down to Houston earlier this week.
Also a huge thank-you to the team at Hilton Chicago Indian Lakes, who contributed the entirety of their 'casual for a cause' funds--over $1000!

A big congratulations to Felicia Nguyen, General Manager of our Hampton Inn Ann Arbor-North, whose citizenship ceremony was this past Monday! Felicia shared the following about her major accomplishment:
"The journey my family and I took to get here was one of many struggles and hardships- it all felt worth it the moment I raised my hand to become an American Citizen. I proudly bear all the responsibilities and welcome all the challenges that lay ahead to continue to make this country great. I realize that only in this country do our actions contribute and impact our society and future. We are so lucky to be here- and for that I am truly grateful to be an American."
