☀️💦 HAPPY LAST DAY OF SUMMER! 💦☀️

And WOW did we make the most of it! 🥳

We started our morning celebrating Gwen’s last day at Ashley’s Learning Ladder with some yummy breakfast muffins! 🧁💕 Then it was time for our End of Summer Party! We packed in all the fun with music, the water bounce house, lots of splashing, and of course some ice cream treats! 🍦🎶💦

We ended our busy morning with Zumbini class with Mrs. Amy! 🎶🕺

It was a little crazy, a lot busy, and SO much fun, basically the perfect way to wrap up our summer! 😂❤️

It’s always a little bittersweet watching our summer memories come to an end, but now we’re ready to welcome a brand-new school year! 🍎✏️ I’m so excited for all the learning, growing, creating, exploring, and FUN that’s ahead!🌻 Farewell, summer ,you were SO good to us! ☀️

Thank you to all of our families, friends, and followers who follow along with our little daycare adventures. We love getting to share these memories with you! ❤️

🥹💕 Today is Gwendolyn’s last day at Ashley’s Learning Ladder! 💕

Gwen started with us in August of 2024, and after two wonderful years, she’s off to school! 🍎✏️

It has been such a joy watching Gwen grow these last two years. Looking back at her early pictures makes me a little sad! She came to me as this sweet little toddler with the chunkiest cheeks, and somehow she’s leaving as this grown-up, almost 5-year-old girl! 🥹

Gwen is our leader, our boss, and definitely keeps everyone in line 😂 and I know her friends are going to miss her like crazy. Things around here just won’t be quite the same without her!

I’ll miss her hugs, her hilarious commentary, and yes… I’ll even miss the new ailments she comes up with approximately every two minutes. 😆 Something is ALWAYS hurting, broken, sore or requiring immediate attention. The theatrics and drama are always on point with this girl! 😂

I’ll also miss my almost-daily daycare spa treatments, because Gwen LOVES playing with my hair and can spend forever doing it. 💇‍♀️💕 I’m not sure who is going to take over that job now!

Gwen has such a big personality, and I just know she is going to thrive at school. I’m so excited to hear about all of her adventures and see where life takes her.

Steph and Clint, thank you so much for sharing your Gwenie with me these last two years and trusting me to be a couple of chapters in her story. It has truly been a privilege to love her, teach her, watch her grow and be part of these early years. 💕

Wednesday and Thursdays shenanigans! Lots of playing!

Tomorrow is our last official day of summer! We will have a little water day/ice cream party to celebrate!

When they come back Monday we start our new school year!!

Happy FOURTH birthday to our sweet Esther June! 🎂🥳💕

Esther is truly one of the sweetest little girls and such a little mama at heart. 🥹 Every single morning, she asks me to get out “the pink basket of babies” so she can take care of them. 😂🍼 She is ALWAYS playing babies or families, and of course, Esther is always the mama! 💕👶🏼

Her friends absolutely adore her and are genuinely sad on the days she isn’t here. 🥹 She is such a special little friend!

When we’re outside, Esther is constantly bringing me flowers, special treasures, and all sorts of goodies she finds 🌸🌼🪨 and she’s always busy in the play kitchen making me some delicious pretend food to eat! 😂🍕🧁

She is just the sweetest, most loving little girl, and I feel so lucky that I get to spend my days with her! I can’t wait to watch her learn, grow, and become even more of her sweet little self this next year. 🩷

We are SO thankful to have you here, Esther June, and we love you so much, Es! 🥹💕

🍦🩷 Happy Thursday! 🩷🍦

Well… today didn’t quite go according to plan! 🤨 We had the Pink Cow Ice Cream Truck scheduled to visit us for the second time, and unfortunately, they forgot to come… again. 😩 Needless to say, we won’t be booking with them going forward.

My little friends had been SO excited for ice cream, and I felt terrible! Thankfully, I found some popsicles hiding in the freezer to save the day… but then our day got even BETTER! 🥹💕

We got a surprise visit from Gwen’s mom, Steph, who showed up with an assortment of fun ice cream treats for everyone to choose from! 🍦🎉 And the sweetest part?! IT’S HER BIRTHDAY TODAY! 🎂🥳 She had the day off and still took time out of her own birthday to come make these kiddos’ day. 🥹 We appreciate your service, Steph!! 😂👏🏼🩷

The kids got to choose between SpongeBob, Bluey, and Olaf treats, and you would have thought they won the lottery! 😂🍦 They were SO excited!

We spent the morning playing with chalk and bubbles, and now we’re running off our sugar rush in the backyard until nap time! 😂🫧☀️

What started out as a disappointing morning turned into THE BEST DAY! 🥰 It really does take a village, and I’m so lucky to have such an amazing one. ❤️

And a HUGE thank you to all of the parents who immediately offered to stop what they were doing and bring treats for the kids when they heard our ice cream truck was a no-show. 🥹 You guys are seriously the best!

☀️💦 Happy Wednesday! 💦☀️

It was another WATER BOUNCE HOUSE DAY! 🏰💦 It was a tad chilly out, but I swear kids just don’t feel temperature at this age! 😂 They certainly didn’t let it stop them from having a blast!

We also started our morning with some Play-Doh fun during drop-off! 🌈🩷 Lots of squishing, rolling, creating, and then it was outside for some water-filled fun!

Another fun morning with this crew! 💕 Hope everyone has a great night! ☀️💦

💦🏰 WE GOT A NEW WATER BOUNCE HOUSE!!! 🏰💦

WOOHOO!! 🎉 Safe to say this thing is going to get A LOT of use around here! 😂☀️ These kiddos were SO excited to try it out today, and they absolutely LOVED IT! 💦🤩

Nothing better than sunshine, water, bouncing, and lots of happy kiddos! 🥰☀️💙 I have a feeling this is going to be a new favorite around here!
