I thought I would share this picture of me doing what I do best - adding a little comic relief to the tension of the situation at hand - complementary of Justine Michelle Films 🤣 Besides, who doesn't want a goofy human picture of their Midwife for the baby book?! 🙈🙌I'm ya girl!

In all seriousness, I just wanted to give a quick PSA: Thank you all for your patience while we return your calls and messages. I know these times can be scary, things are changing rapidly. Know that we are responding to messages and calls based on urgency and may take a tad longer than normal to reply. We haven't forgotten you and we have some options available many of you may not know about...please read on...

I want to spread this message a little further than just Family Tree Midwifery, and say to the general public as so many of my sister Midwifery practices have also shared: Your local State Medical Board Licensed Midwives - ALL of us, are stocked with supplies and wisdom in holding safe space outside of the hospital system. We are ALL open to help you navigate whatever is going on for you - fear of birthing in the hospital, desiring second opinions, an option for a check up in your home or a birth center away from sick people at Dr offices and hospitals, while we wait for this all to pass - and it will.

Some of us have discounted pricing options to help as many as we can, many if not all of us are offering video or phone appointments for a multitude of needs and situations.

Please reach out and ask! We are open to creative collaboration during this time and we want to help!

You can help too - by sharing this information with pregnant/childbearing year folks/women in general who might be interested in knowing about these options. The number one thing Midwives hear is that people just had no idea we were an available resource!! 😵
