Our psyches and bodies are hardwired to not change. With a deeper way, we understand that much of our behavior is deeply rooted in our unconscious, and most reactions to exploration and change (e.g. laughing, making fun of ourselves and others, complaining, etc.) are defenses against the fear.

Today we are reflecting on a core central idea at A Deeper Way. That is, how we show up in each moment is directly related to, in fact determined by, our sense of security in our identity that moment.

It's why doing our own work is so necessary, digging deeper to understand our own fears and insecurities so we don't let them get in the way.

- A desire for moving beyond "how it's been done"

- Willingness to ask for help

- Engagement with the ADW Facilitator Community

- An entrepreneurial spirit

- Courage to speak one's truth from a place of compassion for others
