🍇 Harvest 2026 is getting close!
Our grapes are nearing the finish line, getting sweeter and more delicious by the day… and unfortunately, the birds know it too. 🐦👀
Over the years, we’ve learned that protecting a vineyard takes a variety of techniques—and keeping the birds guessing is part of the strategy!
This year you might catch glimpses (or hear a few!) of our bird-deterring efforts: drones flying overhead, eagle kites soaring above the vines, a speaker with predator sounds, four-wheeler trips up and down the rows, and our sound cannons that really make a BIG boom. 💥🍇
We vary these techniques throughout the day because birds are smart and quickly get used to just one method.
It may seem like a lot of commotion for a bunch of grapes, but those grapes are precious around here. 😉 We know you want the wine… so we can’t let the birds eat it first! 🍷
