FOR SALE: KENMORE 18 Cubic Foot Refrigerator - $200

We still have an extra 18 cubic foot Kenmore refrigerator for sale (we had two exactly the same, so we have no need for a second one). Since we do not want to move it or find a place for it, we are selling it for only $200. Comment or message if interested in it.

There was not enough interest in a basic Wine Making class, so we have decided not to hold the class. This meant we could start our raspberry dessert wine early (unfortunately I won't be able to sell it to anyone once its ready) and make space in our freezer for another crop we need to freeze today.

Update on equipment: The beer trailer has been sold (you can view it at the Rosholt Fair Park during the County Fair this year). We still have the building available for purchase, along with our Pizza making equipment, a couple of wooden dining tables, Plastic kegs, and some 5/6-gallon glass carboys. If interested in any of these items, just send us a note.

I am considering holding a basic wine making class September 10, 17 or 24. This class would cover the basic procedures on how to make wine from either a kit, fruit juice (or concentrate), and fresh fruit. This class is NOT for someone who wants to know the details and science behind making wine, but rather someone who wants to end up with a good tasting wine without a lot of work or hassle. You do not have to know anything about wine making.

After the class, participants will have the opportunity to order their basic wine making supplies, including kit wines and concentrates, at reduced prices.

If interested, please respond to this post, either by message or comment. Please include the dates you would be able to attend (and which you would prefer). If I have enough interested people, I will then schedule the class and then provide more details.

The "YAK" is back on the market.

We will be talking with a realtor this weekend, so expected to see the building listed shortly.

This also means that our restaurant equipment and a few other items that we thought were sold are now available for purchase and will be on sale this Saturday from 1-4 PM.

Today’s featured item:

1/6 Barrel Sankey Plastic Kegs: $20 each, $15 each if you purchase 10 or more, buy the whole lot of about 50 and you can have them for $10 each.
These perform the same as metal kegs, except that it is not recommended to use a commercial keg steam cleaner to clean the kegs. Maximum pressure is 41 lbs. We use a hot water (~180 degrees) + sanitizer mixture to clean the kegs and have had no issues over the 10 years of operation

They are light weight and stackable, so very easy to handle and store. Also, if you buy the whole lot – about 50, I will also throw in the keg filler, cleaner and co2 infuser (I'm selling for $50 used - cost about $100 new).

We also have 3 almost brand-new metal kegs that we are selling for $100 each or $250 for all three.

We are still looking for a home for our Refrigerated Beer Trailer. We are asking $8,000 for the Trailer, which was purchased in 2013 from R&D Refrigerated Trailers in Caledonia, IL for $11,500 with an additional $1,000 in modifications (a similar new trailer today goes for over $17,000). It was originally a 6-tap beer trailer that we modified it to a 12-tap unit. If you go to their website (www.rdrefrigeratedtrailers.com), you can see the original 6 tap trailer in their Picture Gallery and the Kozy Yak Brewery listed as one of their Past Customers. The trailer was used about 20 times (5 Weddings, 3 Church Picnics, and 12 Kozy Yak Events). If interested, just send us a message.
