John E. Davis Photography Like most people, many moments in my own life have passed by without being recorded.

Once I was married and started a family, I realized the importance of archiving moments: the joy of an engagement, the details of a wedding after months of planning, an expanding belly signaling that a new life is formed, the first cry of an infant, stunning baptisms, smiles of a birthday boy, hugs between brothers... Moments go by each day without being recorded, all we have is our mental “snap

shot” which we cannot share. That is why photography inspires me, being able to capture those precious moments in that moment, the ones that may never happen again, so that they can be remembered, shared, and relived again and again.
