Today marks our last work for this trip in Anchorage and Sitka, AK. It has been a great two weeks of teaching, surveying, and exploring ways we can advance canine assisted archaeology. Today's office is just as stunning...

We will return next month to AK with work in Nome and Skagway.

Last week while we have had teams manage our booth at the Society for American Archaeology Meeting in Denver, we had a crew with four AHRDD teams working in Georgia, and then a crew with two teams complete an AHRDD and GPR survey in Northern Virginia this week. During all of that we had one of our team members, veterinarian Dr. Kathleen Connor, finalize their preparations and travel to Ukraine to provide service above and beyond as a traveling Vet to provide care for the dogs and cats caught in the chaos of war. We are proud of Kathleen's dedication to her profession and invite you to read about her first day there.

Besides being a vet, Kathleen and her big yellow Labrador retriever K9 Seamus have worked with us on a number of projects, and she is also working on completing the Archaeological Technician Certificate through the Archeological Society of Virginia.

We wish her much success and safety, and are eager to have her back stateside.
