✨Meet the faces behind the w**e club✨

I realized that while many of you know me from w**e tastings, classes, or social media, not everyone knows the story behind what makes this curated w**e club so special.

So today, I wanted to introduce you to the faces behind our very first shipment.

✨ First, me! I’m the founder, w**e educator, and curator behind the club. After spending more than 25 years traveling through Europe’s w**e regions, my dream has always been to share the incredible w**es and family-owned w**eries that rarely make it into the spotlight.

And then, the real stars of the first shipment, the talented w**emakers whose passion, craftsmanship, and dedication are inside every bottle. The w**es I’ve selected are w**es with a sense of place, made by people who pour their hearts into what they do.

I can’t wait for you to meet them, learn their stories, and taste why I chose each of these w**es for our founding members.

Working at **emkt has always been more than a job for me, it’s been an outlet. A place where I get to connect with people over a shared love of w**e, stories, and slowing down long enough to truly enjoy what’s in the glass. 🍷

Tonight was one of those special nights. We paired beautiful domestic bubbles with incredible food from , and it was pure magic. 🥂 The laughter, the conversation, the way great w**e and great food bring people together… that’s why I do this.

My attempt at making a political post not political.🫣Everyone thinks w**e prices are going up because of inflation… but that’s not the whole story. I want to share something most w**e drinkers don’t realize: w**e tariffs matter, A LOT, and they affect every one of us.

The U.S. w**e industry is one of the only import-driven industries that actually creates an economic surplus thanks to our unique 3-tier system. Because of that structure, w**e keeps $18 billion right here in the U.S. each year.

Our industry is made up of:
🍷 47,000+ private retailers
🍷 6,000+ importers and distributors
🍷 350,000+ restaurants
🍷 More than 200,000 American jobs tied directly to w**e

And here’s what most consumers don’t know:
➡️ We currently have a 15% tariff on w**e, and there is talk of it increasing back to 25%, especially on French w**es.
➡️ These tariffs hurt EVERYONE: shops, restaurants, w**eries, and ultimately the consumer.
➡️ The majority of the U.S. w**e industry agrees: the tariffs on imported w**e need to go.

The US W**e Alliance is actively working on fighting these tariffs in the Supreme Court with the ultimate goal of:

✔️ No expansion of the current tariffs
✔️ Eventual exclusion of w**e tariffs altogether

Most of the w**e industry is built on small, family-run w**eries, not giant corporations and many lawmakers don’t realize how much is at stake.

So what can you do?
❤️ Support your local w**e shops
🍽️ Support independent restaurants
🍇 Buy from small, family-owned w**eries not mass-produced brands from the grocery store.

Between the current economy and looming tariff changes, these businesses need us more than ever.
