Honored to stand alongside fellow advocates as Governor Brian P. Kemp officially proclaimed Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month in Georgia.

As both an Alzheimer’s Association Board member and someone who works with families navigating senior housing and care every day, I see firsthand the profound impact this disease has on individuals, caregivers, and our communities. Moments like these remind me why advocacy matters.

Thank you to Governor Kemp for recognizing the importance of this cause, and to the Alzheimer’s Association, fellow advocates, legislators, and partners who continue fighting for a future without Alzheimer’s.

Together, we can raise awareness, reduce stigma, support caregivers, and move closer to a world without Alzheimer’s.

An incredible few days in D.C. at the AIM Advocacy Forum. We met with members of Congress to grow support for legislation to:
🧠 Pass the bipartisan Alzheimer’s Screening and Prevention (ASAP) Act so Medicare can cover routine blood tests
🔬 Accelerate dementia research and strengthen our public health infrastructure
💜 Enhance dementia trainings for primary care providers by passing the AADAPT Act
