FlameTree Glass Lampworking/Flameworking/"Glassblowing via the Burner method" has new Beginner Workshops/Classes forming now. We have been in business for over 26 years full time, we have a state of the art Studio with proper ventilation, filtered make up air, and Air Conditioning in order for all of our customers to be comfortable even in the Summer heat of ATL., GA. Our current class schedule is on our website at www.FlameTreeGlass.com We also teach group classes, corporate team building groups, etc., and private lessons as well. We do the type of Glassblowing called by many names; such as, Glassblowing at the Torch, or Bench Burner, which includes
1) Classes in Hollow work (Stemware, cups, bowls, and scent bottles, etc.), 2) Classes in Sculpture, and 3) Beads, Marbles, etc., and 4) Cane techniques.
There is some construction going on in front, but we are OPEN for business. If you are blocked by the construction crew, ask them to let you in, and let us know as well, for we are documenting any such incidents. By law they can not block our entrance way; which by the way leads you around back to a peaceful refuge of nature and plants at our back entrance. All activity is monitored by state of the art cameras that can be seen, and some that can't be seen. Our property is under 24 hour camera surveillance. Have a great day!
