πŸŽ‰ Last week, we wrapped up the 2026 Executive Retreat with stronger connections, valuable business conversations, insightful education and, of course, plenty of great food! 🍽️🀝

We kicked off the final day with The State of Self Storage, where Tyson Huebner of Yardi shared national trends while taking a closer look at Texas-specific data and market insights. πŸ“Š

Next, attendees heard from industry leaders during our Capital Markets panel, featuring John Bauman of JLL, Anna Siradze of Talonvest Capital and Brandon Wilhite of Marcus & Millichap, moderated by Clint Wynn of SurePoint Self Storage. πŸ’°

We closed out the educational program with Operating Smarter: Driving Self-Storage Performance, featuring Beau Agnello of Go Store It, Aaron Lubeck of Extra Space Storage and Jeremy Rollwitz of Right Move Storage, moderated by John McAfee of The Storage Place - DFW. πŸšͺπŸ“ˆ

Between sessions, attendees enjoyed plenty of opportunities to network, exchange ideas, connect with sponsors and spend time with fellow self-storage leaders. πŸ’¬βœ¨

A sincere thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this year's Executive Retreat a success!

Day 2 of the 2026 Executive Retreat was all about strengthening connections and sharpening our knowledge. We kicked off Thursday with insightful education sessions before attendees enjoyed an open afternoon to network, explore Grapevine and connect with peers both onsite and offsite.

The day wrapped up with a dinner reception, bringing everyone back together to share great food, meaningful conversations and plenty of laughs.

Today marks the final day of the Retreat, and we're looking forward to making the most of our remaining time together while reflecting on what has already been an incredible few days.

Day 2 Education:
Housing Trends That Drive Storage Demand: What Operators Need to Know by rental housing economist, Jay Parsons
Strategic Acquisitions: Finding Opportunity Amid Change with Bill Bellomy of Versal, Chris Martin of Ideal Self Storage, Paul Spittle of Public Storage and moderator Shrenik Shah of Ten19 Capital Management, LLC

The 2026 TSSA Executive Retreat kicked off last night with a lively Welcome Reception at Hotel Vin's Wine Yard! 🍷

The Texas heat and humidity didn't stop attendees from enjoying great company, meaningful conversations and valuable networking. While some discussed industry trends and business opportunities, others took the chance to connect on a more personal level.

We're excited to be back in Texas, in the heart of DFW and close to our roots, and grateful for such a strong turnout of owners, developers and solution providers. Here's to a great few days of learning, networking and collaboration! 🀝

We love what member My Storehouse Mini Storage has to say about how much community involvement and support matters! We also spotted an Amazon hub locker in this photo, which not only adds value to their community, but also increases foot traffic and provides a new avenue for customer acquisitions.πŸ‘

Community matters.

At My Storehouse Mini Storage, we’re proud to be more than just a storage facility. Owner Stephen Wisnieski is honored to be involved with the Wharton Lions Club and help support the community we call home.

Whether it’s through local organizations, community events, or serving our customers each day, we believe in giving back and investing in the Wharton community.

And yes… I did make him stop and take this picture. πŸ˜‚πŸ“Έ

There are five categories and the awards are based on employee surveys rather than open public voting.
