The over is 35-27-2 when the Atlanta Braves play this season and today, we should be in store for some high-scoring innings from both sides. The Washington Nationals rank 5th best in Batting Average this season and actually have a slightly higher Runs/9 Average on the road compared to their numbers in Washington D.C. this year. For the Braves, their offense continues to be one of the best in baseball, as they rank 4th best in Runs/9 and 2nd in BA and Homeruns. The under is 3-2 this year when these two sides have faced off, but with both offenses rounding into form, we expect to see plenty of runs today in a 8-5 type game.

The Arizona Diamondbacks and Washington Nationals have hit the over each of the last three head-to-head meetings and things are shaping up well for another high-scoring matchup tonight. The DBacks will be rolling with RHP - Zach Davies and his 5.40 ERA, while the Nationals are starting LHP - Patrick Corbin who has been a nice bet for the over in his last two seasons. These two sides combined for 15 Runs last night and I don't see a scenario where these offenses cool off much as the DBacks should win this one 7-4.

1B - Spencer Steer (CIN) hits at the top go the Cincinnati lineup and should be in a good spot tonight as the Reds take on the Milwaukee Brewers and RHP - Julio Teheran who is due for some regression. The Reds offense is much better at home this season and the conditions for todays game should lead to plenty of runs from both sides.

The total for this game has risen quite a bit since it opened as oddsmakers believe we'll see a more balanced Game Two in terms of scoring and that should be enough to push the total over. We know Denver is 10-0 at home in these playoffs and Game One looked like a masterclass from the Nuggets and HC - Mike Malone on defending the Heat, but Miami has shown the ability to adjust in the postseason and should be able to mix-up their offense to negate some of the size of the Nuggets. Our model projects the Nuggets will come out on top tonight, but things will be a lot tighter as we've got a projected final score of 113-108 and we'll be riding the over at a nice number.

Monaco is currently listed as a -250 favorite, which isn't as high as I'd usually like for our first-half system, but still is solid value here. Monaco is at home for the final match of the year and is currently tied with Rennes at 65 Points, so they need a win today to have any chance of qualifying for European football next year. I expect Monaco to jump out to an early lead in this one and cash the first-half with a 1-0 lead.

I would lean the Miami Heat on the +3.5 if I picked a side for the spread, but the best value here is on the total. The line has dropped dramatically from the 215 line we saw in Game Four which will scare some people into hammering the under, but the way these games have gone so far, the over is the play here. Neither one of these two teams has shown the ability to consistently close out on the three-point line which is why this series has been much higher-scoring than we would have expected. The Boston Celtics will create plenty of second-chance scoring opportunities here on the offensive glass and the Heat will get a boost from the home crowd which should help them rebound after their poor performance on Thursday, closing the series out with a 109-106 win here.

The Tampa Bay Rays are 24-5 at home this season and get a very nice matchup tonight vs RHP - Noah Syndergaard and the LA Dodgers. Syndergaard enters play today with a 5.88 and has given up six home runs on the year, which will be trouble tonight as the Rays lead the MLB in homers and has the second-best Batting Average. The Dodgers seem to be back on track offensively, but this is still a very tough matchup for them, and with the pitching edge favoring the Rays, I'll take to home team in a 6-3 type game.

Game Seven in Boston today as the Celtics host the Philadelphia 76ers. Both these defenses were two of the best in the Eastern Conference this season and with the stakes of this game, we should see a low scoring output from both sides. I’ve got a projected 101-95 game tonight, so the total on this one is a nice under play.

The over cashed in each of the first two games of this series, but the advanced metrics were great for either side and suggest we may start to see some offensive regression. For New Jersey, they've been shut down in both games so far vs the Carolina Hurricanes, scoring just twice and going 0-5 on the Power Play. Carolina has a 2-0 lead here and will likely play back on defense to try and avoid conceding an early goal or two to the Devils, which should play right into our under bet. I've got a projected 3-1 Devils win here as they surge late in the third and get back in this series.

RHP - Adam Wainwright is making his season debut for the St. Louis Cardinals today and that should be the jolt this team needs to break out of their current eight-game losing streak. The Cardinals on paper are much more talented than the record suggests, so it's baffling to see them dropping so many winnable games as they have, but it also provides some value with lines like these. The Detroit Tigers have won four in a row, but they also have used their bullpen heavily of late and will be forced to extend RHP - Spencer Turnbull (6.84 ERA) here, which could spell trouble for Detroit. I think the line is slightly off here and I expect the Cardinals to get things right today in a lopsided 6-3 win.
