Our Lake Louise cabin in Charlevoix County is taking shape—and the timber framing is bringing the vision to life.

Designed as a modern Northern Michigan cottage, this 4,000 SF home pairs clean, contemporary lines with warm timber, stone and natural materials to create a retreat that feels both timeless and comfortably rooted in its setting.

One of the most rewarding moments in construction is seeing the architecture begin to frame the experience. Here, the exposed timber structure defines the main living space while expansive glass captures beautiful views across Lake Louise.

Charming, peaceful and intentionally connected to the landscape, this is a home designed around the simple pleasures of life at the lake.

Krieger Klatt Architects is hiring an Architectural Residential Designer / Technician to join our studio in Royal Oak, Michigan.

We work on custom homes where design and technical ex*****on go hand in hand. The person we're looking for understands that great residential architecture lives in the details — in a well-coordinated drawing set, a thoughtful wall section, a plan that actually builds the way it looks on paper.

This isn't a pure drafting role, and it isn't a pure design role. It's both.

What we're looking for:
→ 2–5 years of architectural experience
→ Revit and AutoCAD proficiency required
→ Custom residential background strongly preferred
→ Full-time, Monday–Friday, Royal Oak studio

Progress continues at Glass House in the Orlando area, part of the larger O-Town development.

This 1,100-unit multifamily community is designed around resort-style living, with a large clubhouse, expansive pool area, and major amenity spaces supporting a true lifestyle-centered experience. Phase One included the clubhouse and first residential building, while the next phases are currently under construction.

The apartment buildings are designed as wrap-style buildings, with residences surrounding structured parking to create a connected, walkable, resort-inspired apartment community.
