Recently, Lewis Environmental had the opportunity to showcase its cold tapping and transfer capabilities during a client-hosted response training event.

Participants had the chance to climb aboard the Lewis training trailer to observe equipment demonstrations and learn more about our response capabilities. Lewis personnel also guided attendees through the process of "cold tapping" a rolled-over tanker as part of one of the hands-on stations featured in the multi-station training event.

We’re excited to add a new grapple truck to our fleet, expanding our capabilities and giving our team another powerful tool to get the job done safely and efficiently.
The truck has already been put to work out in the field helping our teams handle, move, and remove materials with greater efficiency. From storm response and debris removal to environmental and industrial projects, this new addition will help us respond to our clients’ needs with even more versatility.

Drone Show Parking Map - Saturday, September 12

If you're wondering where to park for tomorrow night's America250 drone show down by the river, you can try all the municipal lots, along 1st Ave, or in the parking spots along the railroad by Shy Guys Coffee-R-Cade and The Lewis Group.

As a reminder, the show will start when it gets dark, so probably about 8:00 p.m. Just like fireworks, it won't last long, so you'll want to be in place before it starts. We need to keep the grassy area (shown with a red X here) clear for drone safety reasons.

And a big thanks to The Lewis Group for letting us use their lot for the show. I've never been to a drone show before so I'm eager to see what it's all about!

Join Royersford Borough to celebrate Royersford Community Day with a drone show on Saturday, September 12 at dusk in Railroad Plaza - near The Lewis Group and Shy Guys Coffee-R-Cade.

Sunset will be around 7:15, so shortly after we'll celebrate America's 250th (and Royersford!) with a drone show. Drone shows are like fireworks - they don't last long - so be sure to be in place as it gets dark.

Saturday, September 12 is going to be a busy day - pretty soon Anil Dham will officially deem it a Super Saturday! We'll have Community Day (with the Royersford Farmers Market) in the morning and afternoon, then the Plein Air Art exhibition outside Royersford Commons at 3:00 p.m., followed by the drone show when it gets dark.

See you there!

A recent trash fire serves as an important reminder: lithium-ion batteries do not belong in curbside trash. Our crews were called out to respond after improperly discarded batteries ignited in collected waste. Something as simple as throwing away a battery can create a dangerous situation for the sanitation workers handling the trash, as well as for collection vehicles and facilities. Keep our community safe by recycling batteries at designated drop-off locations.
