Here is my Holiday Wish for Everyone!

11/01/2019

Although not business-oriented in any way, I thought it might be interesting to gain some insights from all of you by sharing your Top Ten Disney Animated Characters fo all time!

Here is my listing . . .

TOP TEN DISNEY ANIMATED CHARACTERS

To create such a listing is almost impossible . . . well, at least to just narrow the selection down to ten characters. I have so many favorites that include Dory (Finding Nemo), Mater (Cars), Sebastian (The Little Mermaid), Beast (Beauty and the Beast), Jack Skelington (The Nightmare Before Christmas), Aladdin (Aladdin), and Moana (Moana), to name a few.

But here is my list of the top ten, with the first 9 listed in no particular order:
• Woody (Toy Story) – loyal, flawed but tireless in defending his friends
• Wall.E (Wall.E) – without words we know his kind heart and dedication
• Merida (Brave) – the strongest female character in any Disney movie (in my opinion)
• Heimlich (Bug’s Life) – so unassuming and funny without pretention
• Carl Frederickson (Up) – so in love with his wife and dedicated to the adventure of living his dream
• Ray (The Princess and the Frog) – how can a firefly be so intelligent and show us such compassion for his love Evangeline?
• Baloo (Jungle Book) - the epitome of “cool,” especially when voiced by Phil Harris
• Timon/Pumba (Lion King) – I know I have listed two here, but how can you separate these two perfect friends?
• Any Character from Coco (Coco) – the wonderful interpretation of the best cultural film done by Disney

And my #1 favorite character . . .
• Mike Wazowski (Monsters, Inc.) – not the most popular guy, but a true and loyal friend, dedicated worker, and all-around great guy who can always say something funny! My hero!!

Another fantastic story from the mind of Jason Kotecki of Escape Adulthood. This is clearly something we can all find as authentic to our lives, so go out and wear your red glasses, everyone!!

Boss Lady - - - | written by Jason on 2/17/2019 | - - - “Boss Lady” by Jason Kotecki. 6″ x 8″. Oil on canvas. Original is SOLD. Limited edition canvas prints available here. This little bird is the boss, but I’m not talking about her title. I’m talking about her attitude, her fabulousnes...

I am a HUGE fan of Jason Kotecki from Escape Adulthood, and am always in awe of his message and way to look at life. Perhaps his recent post hits home more than usual because of my recent life transition, but his message resonated so well with me. I share this in the hopes that it resonates with you too!

Your Life is a Cliffhanger. What Will Happen Next? - - - | written by Jason on 11/11/2018 | - - - When I walk a cemetery, I look for stories in the gravestones. Sometimes the markers are very large and ornate, and other times quite small and humble. I wonder how accurate they are in reflecting the g...

MY APOLOGIES!

For my existing and potential clients, I feel it is extremely important to recognize your hard work and efforts to make your businesses succeed in a crazy world of business. As such, for the past three years, ideaologie has organized a social “get-together” for artists, designers, agents and manufacturers who attend the National Stationery Show and SURTEX in New York. This was our way of thanking you for all that you do to enlighten our world, and offer you the opportunity to meet like-minded souls in a comfortable, yet exciting environment. By your attendance, these events were wildly successful, beyond out imagination.

However, I must apologize that this year I will not be able to have such an event. As the Licensing Expo in Las Vegas, generally a show that takes place a month after the NSS/SURTEX, has moved their show dates to parallel the NSS/SURTEX, and attendance at both show is almost mandatory, having the ideaologie Party was almost impossible and I had to make the very tough decision to not have the ideaologie party. And to be honest with you, having this “party” without my previous business partner just did not seem right.

That said, I do look forward to seeing many of you at the show (as I will be there on Sunday), and want you to know that my services are still available to you pre and post show. In the past, many artists have engaged me to conduct the follow-up conversations with all of the contacts made at the show – up to and including negotiating any deals that may transpire. I would be honored to help any of you in any way possible to ensure your success before and after the show. Feel free to give me a call to discuss (812-320-2882), or send me an email at [email protected].

So . . . once again, my sincere apology for not having the ideaologie party this year! I do wish all of you great success.

For the past couple of years, the ideaologie social media posts have revolved around the theme of starting a conversation with us, and the use of passionate business quotes to inspire, enlighten and entertain our fans. While I will always share a good quote now and again when I believe it right and appropriate, I feel the need to switch directions a bit. I am finding that everyone is sharing quotes these days, and too many people seem to be living in the world of Pinterest quotes, using them to justify everything they do – good and bad.
Last year I had the great fortune to meet Kim and Jason Kotecki, founders of Escape Adulthood. If you don’t know about this “movement,” do yourself a favor and check them out (http://escapeadulthood.com/blog/). Kim and Jason helped remind me that with all of the day-to-day stress we encounter, it is important to find that inner child in all of us, and learn to celebrate, really and truly celebrate, life as much as possible – daily if you can! They produce a fantastic annual calendar that highlights a legitimate reason to celebrate for each of the 365 days of the year.
So . . . with their permission, I am going to start sharing some CELEBRATION DATES in the ideaologie posts to help remind all of you to take time and celebrate your day, your week, your year and your life. I won’t share all of the reasons for celebration – for that I suggest you buy their calendar, if it is even still available!!
Do it for your own mental health, as well as for the mental health of everyone around you – family, friends and co-workers! Thanks a million, you Kotecki’s!!
Enjoy the posts!
