The owner of this ‘15 Silverado (only 85k miles) already had to replace the transmission due to poor factory tuning. A year ago, a shop replaced the lifters and head gaskets after lifter failure—but they used cheap knockoff parts and didn’t do a proper DOD delete. As a result, the truck was towed in again with a failed lifter, a broken tray, and a bent and broken pushrod. To make matters worse, the previous shop refused to warranty their work. Now, it’s fully deleted, built with quality parts, and properly tuned for both engine and transmission.👌
Noticing more failures do to bad cams and warn lobes on the non dod lifters too, so just shutting off 4cyl mode isn't guaranteed longevity!
