James Tamelcoff, along with Mr. John Johnson on bass, ladies and gentlemen!

James may be making waves in Nashville, but his following here in Central Virginia remains strong and loyal. Seeing so many people come out from all over last night made it clear why people connect with him: an incredible voice, exceptional musicianship, a calm and genuine presence, and outstanding character.

After playing nearly three hours at Guildford Farm, James packed up and headed straight to another performance at a local benefit supporting a great cause. That says a lot about the kind of person he is.

We appreciate you, brother, and hope to have you back again next year!

And a reminder for everyone: James’ album release show is coming up August 8 at The Jefferson. Don’t miss it.

Finally, thank you to everyone who visited the farm this weekend—especially those who joined us for the first time. We’ve loved seeing so many new faces and have more to share once the weekend wraps up.

Speaking of which, come see Malcolm Pulley & The Little Birdies from 1–4 PM today as we close out the weekend at Guildford Farm! Our friends from Celt Run Farm will be back with their goats and so will Wiley’s Street Food and Underground Coffee!

Day 1 is in the books! And it's one we'll store in the memory bank for a long time.

Kids, goats, dogs, friends, family, Lama and The Hound (yes, that was the band 😄) — what could be better?

Well over 100 people joined us for our first-ever Friday at the Farm, and the evening exceeded our expectations.

🐐 The goats from Celt Run Farm were a huge hit.

🌮 Wiley's Street Food completely SOLD OUT (and we heard countless compliments about the food, service, and kindness shown to everyone).

✨ Tenderweld dazzled guests from their permanent jewelry camper.

🎶 Lama and The Hound were absolutely perfect.

🍷 And our Virginia beverage partners reminded everyone why Virginia wine, cider, and craft beverages continue to shine.

We also loved hearing your ideas, feedback, and suggestions for future events. (Who's voting for a giant chess set? 🙋‍♂️)

The summer heat definitely taught us a few things, too. It's clear we'll likely shift to a slightly later start time for future summer events. Until then, come prepared with sunscreen, water, and whatever helps you stay cool! That said, our tall old pine trees provided a beautiful shaded gathering area beginning around 4:30 PM, just a short walk from the patio and stage, and many guests naturally migrated there as the evening cooled down.

Most importantly, thank you. To everyone who attended, shared a post, invited a friend, brought a chair, bought a drink, supported a vendor, or simply stopped by to say hello—thank you for helping make our first summer event weekend so special.

We're still building this thing, learning as we go, and dreaming about what Guildford Farm can become. Seeing so many smiling faces gathered together on a beautiful Virginia evening reminded us exactly why we started.

Our hearts are full, and we're incredibly grateful.

We'll see you Saturday and Sunday at the Farm.

Man! What an amazing first day at Guildford Farm & Vineyard! We SOLD OUT! Shout out to the whole Kibler family and all of the wonderful staff. You guys have been amazing!
I’d like to shout out all of the patrons, as well. I wasn’t sure what to expect today, so I came solo. I know wait times were long and I can’t thank you all enough for being so kind and patient. Folks like that make this job so special and it truly means so much!
We’re coming back on Sunday and I couldn’t be more excited!

Please check this place out. It is the most family friendly venue I think I’ve ever been too.

We’re excited to welcome Harley and Wiley’s Street Food to Guildford Farm for two event days this June:

📍 Guildford Farm – Ruckersville, VA
🍷 Friday at The Farm — June 5th | 4–8 PM
🎶 Slowdown Sunday — June 7th | 12–4 PM

Born and raised right here in Central Virginia, Harley launched Wiley’s Street Food to bring “southern comfort meets tacos” to local vineyards, pop-ups, churches, and community events across the Charlottesville and Greene County area.

Wiley’s Southern BBQ-style tacos, loaded nachos, street corn, and comfort-food-inspired flavors will be the perfect complement to local wine, craft beer, cider, live music, and a laid-back weekend at the farm.

Come hungry, bring a chair or blanket, and enjoy local food, local drinks, music, and community at Guildford Farm.

Planning on attending more than one day of our June Event Weekend at Guildford Farm? Why not stay right here on the farm and enjoy everything the property has to offer?

Our historic Guildford Farm Manor Home will be available for lodging during the June 5–7 event weekend — giving guests the opportunity to fully relax, unplug, and experience the farm all weekend long.

Please note: the Manor Home is offered as a private full-home rental only and is not rented by individual room.

Lodging guests receive access to the 150-acre property, including:
• Wooded hiking trails
• Fishing pond
• Hot tub
• Backyard horseshoe pits
• Spacious outdoor gathering areas

Guests will also enjoy convenient on-site access to the weekend’s live music, local food vendors, wine, beer, and cider events. During public event hours, guests attending the event will have access to the event center and nearby lawn/trail areas; however, the Manor Home and its immediate surrounding spaces will remain private for lodging guests.

We’re excited to officially spotlight Lama and the Hound as part of our very first Friday at the Farm summer event weekend at Guildford Farm starting on June 5th.

These two Virginia-based musicians bring an incredible mix of acoustic favorites and classic songs inspired by Americana, Bluegrass, Outlaw Country, and Classic Rock — the perfect soundtrack for a relaxing evening on the farm.
