Saturday night's Family Movie Night was a BLAST! 🎬⚾

Even with the smoke and poor air quality, 70+ adults and children came out to enjoy The Sandlot from the comfort of our air-conditioned Event Center. While many events across the area had to be canceled, we were grateful to still bring our community together for a fun evening indoors. Thanks to all who came out!

Events like these aren't just about a movie—they're about creating memories! And we're especially grateful for the people who stepped up to help make the evening such a success.

A huge thank you to DJ Ricky Morris for generously lending us his professional sound system so everyone could enjoy the movie. Thank you also our friend Colleen and her daughter for volunteering their time and treating everyone to an incredible popcorn stand! And a special shoutout to our friends from Rivannah Station—active-duty military members who love serving our local community—for helping with parking and making sure everyone had a smooth arrival.

This is exactly the kind of community we hoped Guildford Farm would help foster.

We're already looking forward to hosting more family movie nights in the future! Hello everybody!

After keeping a close eye on the air quality and talking with our vendor partners this morning, we've made a few adjustments to tonight's Family Movie Night.

First, the good news... The Sandlot is still on! ⚾🎬

We spoke with Two Brothers and Lama, and together agreed that with the poor air quality and so many families understandably planning to stay indoors, it makes more sense to find another date to bring them back to the farm. We care about the success of our vendor partners, and above all, we want everyone to stay safe.

That said, we've had over a dozen families reach out to let us know they would still love to come watch the movie together. We didn't want to disappoint those who have been planning to come out and enjoy this summer classic, so we're keeping the movie on for tonight!

Please tell your friends and family to come join you. It's like going to the movies for free—only with better views and your favorite local drinks!

Tonight's updated plan:
🎬 Doors open at 6:00 PM (originally 4:30 PM)
🎲 Board games and yard games available before the movie
🍷 Wine, cider, beer, non-alcoholic drinks, and snacks available for purchase at the bar
🥨 Feel free to bring your own dinner or favorite movie snacks
🎥 The Sandlot will begin shortly after 8:00 PM

We'll be nice and cozy inside our air-conditioned event center, so kids are encouraged to bring blankets and pillows to make a comfy spot on the floor. We'll have tables and chairs available for parents, but please feel free to bring an extra camping chair just in case we have a bigger crowd than expected!

We can't wait to see everyone tonight between 6 PM - 10 PM.

Hello everybody! We’re in a bit of a pickle... 🌫️

As many of you know, several events around the area have been canceled this weekend due to the smoke and poor air quality. The good news is that one of the benefits of having our event center is that we can simply move everything indoors!

Before we make the final call, we'd love a quick pulse from our community.

If you'd still like to join us this evening for Family Movie Night featuring The Sandlot, please leave a comment below by 12:00 PM!

If we get a good response:
🍔 Two Brothers Food Truck is still happy to come out and serve dinner.
🎶 Lama on the Loose will still perform from 6:00–8:00 PM.
🎥 We'll move indoors and show The Sandlot after 8:00 PM!

Unfortunately, Kona Ice won't be able to make it due to the weather conditions.

Our other option would be to reschedule everything for Friday, August 21, but we realize that could create conflicts with high school football and other late-summer activities.

So let us know! If you'd still come out and enjoy an indoor evening of food, music, and a family movie, please comment below by noon today. We'd still have a great time together! ❤️⚾🌽

“You’re killin’ me, Smalls!” ⚾🌅

Tonight’s looking like a great summer evening at Guildford Farm!

If a thunderstorm decides to make an appearance, we’re ready—we’ll simply move The Sandlot indoors, so bring your lawn chairs, pillows, blankets, or camp chairs either way. It’s going to be one of those classic summer nights you’ll remember.

Tonight at Guildford Farm (4:30–9 PM):
🎬 Two Brothers Food Truck
🍧 Kona Ice
🎶 Lama on The Loose live from 6–8 PM
⚾ The Sandlot begins after 8 PM (once it’s dark enough for the screen)

We’ll also be serving:
🍷 Local wines (featuring Hark Vineyards, the 2026 Monticello Wine Trail Gold Cup Winner)
🍎 Potter’s Craft Cider
🥂 Waterbird canned cocktails
🍺 Three Notch’d craft beer

A few reminders before you come:
✅ Bring lawn chairs, blankets, pillows, or camp chairs.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family-friendly and kid-friendly.
🐶 Dogs are welcome on a leash.
🚫 No outside coolers or outside alcohol, please.

Event Update 🌿🎶

We’re looking forward to seeing everyone tonight!

To help keep everyone cool and safe, we’re planning to move tonight’s live music indoors from 6:00–8:00 PM. We’ll still have all the great music—just in a cooler, more comfortable setting.

🍴 Wiley’s Street Food is here and ready to serve.

Unfortunately, our friends from Celt Run Farm won’t be able to make it tonight. With the smoky conditions and poor air quality, they’ve made the difficult decision to keep their goats at home to protect their health and well-being. We completely understand and appreciate them putting their animals first!! Hopefully they’ll be out here tomorrow!

Come enjoy a relaxing evening with great food, wine, and live music. We can’t wait to see you at Guildford Farm!

We’re still on for this evening! If the smoke is too strong or weather doesn’t allow for music to be outside, we’ll simply move the fun indoors.

We’re open 4:30 - 9:00 with music from 6:00-8:00.

Come eat, drink, and stay cool inside the event center if you want to beat the heat!
