Otero County Electric Cooperative will have a planned outage on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, while recently identified damage on the transmission line is repaired. The outage will begin at 9 AM with restoration expected by 12 PM and will affect all members in Ruidoso Downs, Glencoe, San Patricio, Hondo, east of Hondo, Tinnie, Arabela, Lincoln, Capitan, North of Capitan, Alto, Nogal, and Carrizozo.

If this equipment is not repaired now and fails in the future, it could cause significant additional damage to our system and a very lengthy outage.

Please note that outage times are estimations only and can change if crews encounter unforeseen issues during the repair process. Your patience is appreciated while this work is done.
