After heavy rain, a local South Jersey college campus experienced flooding that affected 12 areas throughout the building. What may have looked like a relatively small amount of water in one office quickly traveled throughout the space, reaching room after room.

After the initial call, our team arrived to document the damage, assess the affected areas, and begin the mitigation process.

💧 The right tools help us find what you can't always see.

One tool our team uses during water losses is a psychrometer, which helps us measure temperature and relative humidity in the affected space. Monitoring these conditions allows us to better understand how moisture is behaving and make informed decisions throughout the drying process.

🚨 3 signs your facility may have a mold problem:

👀 1. Visible growth — Discoloration or spots on walls, ceilings, carpets, or other surfaces.

💧 2. Moisture or water damage — Recent leaks, flooding, condensation, or areas that stay damp.

👃 3. Musty odors — A persistent musty smell can be a sign of mold hiding where you can't see it.

The key to mold prevention? Find the moisture before it becomes a bigger problem. If you spot any of these warning signs, don't wait to address them, call us at 877.247.5252.

As the first day of school gets closer, we're seeing more mold issues popping up in schools.

As your teams prepare buildings for students and staff to return, be sure to keep an eye out for signs of moisture and potential mold, especially in areas that have been closed up or exposed to summer heat and humidity.

A little extra attention now can help prevent a bigger problem once school is back in session.

If you find mold or discover a moisture issue, AllRisk is on call 24/7 and ready to respond.

At first glance, it almost looks like ice, but this is actually extensive mold growth covering the wall.

This is an extreme example of what can happen when moisture is left unchecked. Mold can spread beyond what is immediately visible, making early identification and proper moisture control critical.

While this may be an unusual sight, the lesson is simple: **if you see signs of moisture, don't wait to address them.** Early intervention can help prevent a small issue from becoming a much larger one.

At AllRisk, we’re here to help assess the situation, identify the source, and determine the right steps forward.
