To answer some of your frequently asked questions.
When do I put my trash out?
Please put it out on the day of your normal pickup. Some routes are more caught up than others, and this helps us stay as organized as possible.
When are you coming back for the ones you missed because of the ice?
Unfortunately, we do not have the ability to restart all routes this week. We are collecting everything we safely can. Any stops missed this week will be picked up on your next scheduled pickup day, meaning those stops will be one week behind.
My road was just scraped. Can you come back now?
We’re sorry, but we do not have the manpower to divert trucks back to routes that are already more than a day behind.
When will you get to my specific road?
We are currently running about a day behind. If your pickup day was Monday or Tuesday, we will not be able to return until your regular pickup next Monday. Our crews are working 12-hour days and even Saturday to catch up, but icy road conditions make us much less efficient than normal.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and completely understand the frustration. Please know our hands are tied — we simply cannot risk sending 60,000-pound trucks down unsafe, icy roads.
We appreciate your patience and understanding while we work through this.
